An aptitude test is an exam which is used to test certain skills in an individual. These skills include numerical abilities, use of reasoning, ability to interpret data, and knowledge of English. These tests have become a common mechanism in the screening process for recruitment by companies in their placement drives. They have also become part of qualifying exams for various types of jobs in the Government.

In this course on Aptitude Test Preparation, we shall cover the relevant lessons in the following areas of an aptitude test paper.

  • Quantitative problem solving
  • Logical reasoning
  • Data interpretation and data sufficiency
  • Verbal skills

For each of the areas listed above, we have multiples lessons. Within each lesson, you will find the following resources:

  • A power point presentation which covers the course
  • A handout which can be used as a quick reference and contains the key formulas and rules
  • Question paper and solution for your practice
  • Videos covering a revsion of the Block topics and discussions on the Block tests
  • A final MCQ based question paper to test your learning

After a group of lessons, we have a Block Test (MCQ based) to assess your preparedness on the topics covered in that group. There are 10 Block Tests. Following that, we have Course Tests for the complete syllabus. There are 20 Course Tests. Finally there are 10 Advanced Course Tests.

You have a large number of tests at various complexity levels to practice and prepare. It is estimated that you must solve around 3500 aptitude test questions to be completely prepared for your placement exams. This course will help you achieve that through a structured learning and continuous assessments.

We give below the complete course curriculum. We have indicated the number of hours a college needs to spend for conducting an Aptitude Test Preparation Course. And we have given the plan and number of hours a student needs to spend in case he is self learning.
